Neuropsychological Testing (Neuropsych)

This is an assessment for those who have had a head injury to identify any ongoing effects of the injury on brain function. It consists of a series of tasks carried out with a Clinical Psychologist. The results from the assessment are discussed with the Client and a report is developed to describe the effect of the injury and make recommendations for rehabilitation. The length of time to complete this assessement varies according to the individual and their situation but is generally 4-5 hours. Becuase of this, the assessment is often booked over more than one day to avoid fatigue.
