Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)

FCE’s determine the occupational and functional ability of an individual. FCE referrals can be target simple, complex or task specific inforamtion and SRI uses the Workhab programme as its assessment tool.

An FCE is a systematic process of measuring, recording and analysing an individual’s ability to perform purposeful activitites in response to broadly defined work demands, activities of daily living or projected vocational status. The assessment usually take 2.5 to 3.5 hours to perform.
