Our orthopaedic provision is complimented by co-location with Leinster and Elmwood orthopaedic surgeon groups as well as the Canterbury Radiology Group.

SRI’s Interdisciplinary provision reflects the current evidence that persistent pain and disability resulting from injury is a composite of multiple interrelating physical, psychological, social and occupational factors. This concept is known as the biopsychosocial model. The biopsychosocial model is intrinsic to the way our clinicians treat patients in such a way that the patients’ treatment is fully integrated and the  journey of care avoids fragmentation and confusion.

People can be referred to SRI for their injury rehabilitation through a variety of means including self-referral, GP referral, ACC and Health insurance.
